Gilded silver egg-box by Antip Kuzmichev, Moscow, 1890. The body is decorated with finely engraved six-pointed stars and inscription in Russian "CHRIST IS RISEN" on royal blue guilloche ground. Height 2 3/8 in. (6 cm). Condition: a minor repaired chip to guilloche enamel.
