FABERGE silver-topped gold, aquamarine and diamond brooch in Art Deco style, made in St. Petersburg around 1910 by Alfred Thielemann.

Alfred Thielemann (died c.1913) occupied the second floor of the House of Faberge at Bolshaya Morskaya 24, mostly produced jewelry and gold objects with gems. His work is recognizable by precise setting of large stones.
3,9 Ct. faceted aquamarine, one brilliant and numerous rose-cut diamonds.
Struck with workmaster's initials 'AT' in the oval-shaped mark.
Also struck with later Soviet control marks (1920s-1930s) for gold (583) and silver (875) . Apparently, the brooch was sold at a public auction during those years.
