Aivazovsky Signed Photograph 1898

Cabinet photograph of famous Russian marine artist Ivan Konstantinovich Aivazovsky (1817-1900) by Kharkof photographer Alfred Fedecki, the upper right corner with Aivazovsky signature and presentation inscription dated 1898, also signed by the artist in the lower left corner. Aivazovsky is photographed with one of his paintings. A case with paint and brushes is placed on an ornate table to his left. The photograph is impressed with the date '1898'. 5 1/4 x 8 5/8 in. (13,3 x 21,4 cm).
