(the first child of Tsar Nicholas II and Empress Alexandra Feodorovna)
An Imperial Ceremonial is a red folder with gilded Russian double headed eagle and antique Greek pattern border. It contains several sheets with detailed description of baptismal ceremony.
Such ceremonials were never intended for sale. Only a limited number was printed and sent out to those, who were invited by the Tsar to the ceremony.
It was the highest honor to be invited to baptism of Tsar's children. The ceremony took place at the church of the Tsarskoe Selo palace.
