An antique FABERGE white guilloche enamel and faceted amethyst egg pendant with gold mounts, workmaster Feodor Afanasiev, St. Petersburg, circa 1900.    

Marked on the loop with 56 gold standard (14K) and master's initials Cyrillic 'FA'

      Height 1,75 cm (11/16 in). Excellent condition.

Provenance:

Maria Vladimirovna Chatelain, Lady in Waiting of Grand Duchess Xenia Alexandrovna (sister of Tsar Nicholas II).
