A VERY RARE antique Russian carte de visite photograph of Grand Duke George Alexandrovich, circa 1889.

Grand Duke George (1871-1899) was the third son of Tsar Alexander III and a brother of Nicholas II. As a child, he was diagnosed with tuberculosis and died young, at age 28. His photographs are rarely seen today.
