Faberge silver and guilloché enamel match holder in Neo-classical style, St. Petersburg, 1904-1908, workmaster Anders Nevalainen, the cylindrical body covered with translucent royal blue enamel over a wavy engine turned ground, applied with ribbon tied laurel garlands, silver beaded rim. Weight 5,1 oz. (147 g). Diameter of the base 2 in. (5 cm). Height 2 3/8 in. (6 cm). Enamel is in exceptional condition.

Marks: K.FABERGE in Cyrillic, 88 standard with assayer's initials 'AP' for Alexander Romanov and workmaster's initials 'AN' for Anders Nevalainen.
