Imperial presentation small gold cigarette case by Faberge, St. Petersburg, circa 1895, a polished rose gold case with rounded corners and edges, mounted with diamond-set green gold double headed Imperial eagle. Width 2 1/8 in. (5,4 cm). Length 3 1/4 in. (8,2 cm). Weight 63 g (2,2 oz).
Condition: very little actual wear, just faint hairline scratches which are mostly noticeable due to highly polished surfaces, no dents, diamond-set eagle in near mint, overall excellent.

The eagle is set with one brilliant-cut and twenty four rose-cut diamonds.

Interior of the case is in mint condition.

Struck with 56 zolotniks gold standard (14K) - St. Petersburg and workmaster's initials 'AH' for August Holmstrom.
