The back is engraved with later dates '58' - '63', large Roman numeral 'V' and day/month '20 III'.

Marked on rim with 56 zolotninks standard (583/14K gold), initials of Moscow assayer Ivan Lebedkin (Cyrillic 'IL').  Scratched inventory number 1147.

The pin with assay stamp and  initials 'KФ' in Cyrillic for Carl Faberge.

The hook is stamped with  'KФ'  and capital Cyrillic  'Л '. The  'Л ' mark was stamped on items which came from pawn shops or bank vaults and meant for public sale.
