Grand Duchess Xenia Porcelain Bowl

Very rare porcelain footed bowl from a service made for the Grand Duchess Xenia Alexandrovna (1875-1960), daughter of Alexander III/sister of Nicholas II. Imperial Porcelain Factory 1895 (green cypher mark). The bowl is decorated with Xenia's monogram - A between interlaced Ks (Ksenia in Russian) under Imperial crown. Moderate rubbing to gilt, a couple of firing cracks on the bottom of the foot. Height 6 1/2 in. (16,5 cm). Diameter 8 1/2 in. (21,4 cm).
