Cloisonne enamel jewelry box by Maria Semyenova

Gilded silver and shaded cloisonne enamel trunk-form jewelry box by Maria Semyenova, made in Moscow between 1899 and 1908. The lid is enameled en plein with a spray of roses. Length 2 3/4 in. (7 cm). Weight 6.1 oz (172 g).

Both enamel and gilding are in exceptional condition. No restoration.

Marked with 84 standard (.875 silver) with assayer's initials of Ivan Lebedkin and master's initials 'MC' for Maria Semyenova.
