Massive silver cigarette case in Neo-Russian style, made in Moscow between 1899 and 1908, workmaster Egor Cheriatov. Condition: minor pocket wear, intact enamel.

The lid is enameled with a large matt miniature of a winter horse troika (after a circa 1900 watercolor by N. Samokish) within a chased stylized floral cartouche.
Marked inside the case on both halves with workmaster's initials and 84 standard (875/1000 silver) with initials of Moscow assay master Ivan Lebeodkin.
