Porcelain dinner plate from the Purple service of the Tsarskoe Selo palace, made at the Imperial Porcelain Factory in 1906.
Diameter 9 15/16 in. (25,2 cm). Excellent condition.
The Purple service was the last major porcelain commission of the Imperial family. The border with 18th century style decorations in purple and gold (colors of sovereignty). The service consisted of 1,690 pieces and was intended for private use of the czarist family.
